As at 23 Sep, compared with 16 Sep, average short interest held steady at 1.52%, matching the previous 1.52%. Droneshield Limited (DRO) remained the most shorted stock at 14.76%, down 0.99% from 15.75%. Lotus Resources Limited (LOT) ranked second at 13.32%, falling 3.98% from 17.3%, while Iperionx Limited (IPX) rose 0.66% to 12.48%. Boss Energy Ltd (BOE) increased 2.22% to 12.4%, and 4Dmedical Limited (4DX) dipped 0.19% to 11.97%.

Notable short builds included Artrya Limited (AYA), which jumped 4.88% to 6.66%, and Betagblsharesexus ETF Units (EXUS), up 4.11% to 4.64%. Minerals 260 Limited (MI6) rose 2.96% to 8.22%, and Sunrise Energy Metals Limited (SRL) gained 2.49% to 3.66%. Significant covering occurred in Bapcor Limited (BAP), down 4.7% to 2.02%, and Jumbo Interactive Limited (JIN), down 4.47% to 2.38%. New entrants to the top 20 included Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited (EOS) at 10.57% and Lendlease Group (LLC) at 8.71%.
