It is also involved in the collection, processing, and trading of secondary raw material from iron and steel; and other metal alloys and residues, such as aluminum, lead, copper, zinc, and nickel bearing materials. In addition, the company engages in the provision of IT recycling, repurposing and resale services; Secondary processing and other services comprise stevedoring and other services; and rental of properties. Further, it provides technology infrastructure lifecycle solutions for enterprise and hyperscale customers, including the repurposing and recycling of data centre equipment and components. The company was formerly known as Sims Metal Management Limited and changed its name to Sims Limited in November 2019.Sims Limited was founded in 1917 and is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
